Making PPTP VPN connection on Vario

I want to make a VPN connection over t'internet from my MDA Vario and I can't make it work.

I'm trying to connect to a Win2k server that accepts PPTP connections, and I can connect fine from my desktop PC.

I've tried connecting over wi-fi and activesync with no luck. I've tinkered with the work/internet connection settings and all I get is either a "problem with the settings" error or nothing happens at all.

Any ideas?
