Guest mescalino Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 Hi everyone First of all i would like to say that this forum was able to solve more or less every problem i encountered with my devices and i thank you people for sharing your knowledge for free. In attached image you can see my pocket pc which has been working good unitll this problem appeared. I can still use it but it's a bit anoying. The warranty has passed so i'm stuck with it which also means that i could open it if nessesary. is there anything i can do?

There are cyclic display programs that can be used to try to free any stuck pixels but the fact they are in a line would point to me to a ribbon cable problem. Have you tried diss-assembly and re-seating the cable? Richard
Guest mescalino Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 It's Medion MD 2910 (http://download2.medion.de/downloads/anleitungen/bdappc100de.pdf) I haven't tried reinserting cables I did heard this before but wasn't sure if it would worsten the problem
