Spv C500. How To Play 3gp?

HEllo, I got a SPV C500 and want to watch clips/movies on it?

I got a question? :roll:

How can I play the next files

* 3gp

* Mpeg

* wmp

what kind of software do I need and were can I get is.

well tcpmp is the best video player around as it plays a variety of formats and also plays in full screen.

Its INCREDIBLE

although wmp isnt actually a file type? are u reffering to wma the audio format

I own an original SPV which plays .avi and divx using betaplayer, I'm not sure if Betaplayer will work with a C500 , I need to know as I'm waiting delivery of this model bought second hand from a m8. I have lots of converting software that will convert & resize movies for the SPV ,most are freebies .There is converters to convert your 3gp movies to .avi and mpegs .I've been experimenting with some software for my Sharp GX25 to view 3gp files in Widows Media Player , it works but the resolution is not to good .Pity I cannot send 3gp files back to my GX25 , it wont accept them , this is why I've went back to the SPV [a newer model] You can do so much more with these things than any other phone I know.

betaplayer thts old, tcpmp is the upgraded version, and i think has alot more features!! as for a converter use pocketdivxconverter it is easy to use and produces very good quality.

tcpmp will run on the c500 i hear, and will run nicely

TCPMP is a great little player, fantastic playback. However, to play 3gp files you will need the following plugin, as tcpmp does not come with the aac codec for the sound files.

Hello Thanks all for the quick answers.

I downloaded TCMP 0.71 + Latest additional plugins - 0.71

I got some 3.gp files and mpeg files on my SPV but the sounds is oke but the screen is freezing?????????????????

can someone help me with that?

are u viewing it in full screen? or windowed, somtimes in windowed it freezes but all it needs is a quick rewind to the left and then its playing again, same thing with the full screen.

unless yours isnt working all, this usually happens to me if i press menu while playing it.

I'm fairly certain the Multimedia browser/player (not media player) that comes with the C500 plays 3gp files without any problems.

It does, but I found that it would not play the files fullscreen, and you could not enlarge the screen to even fill even in portrait.

Cool, everything on TCPMP works.

I just set Videodriver on GDI, and it works.
