Guest aff1993 Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 just upgraded it to wm2003 to make reception better, vodafone wont work and gnor will telstra, so i put in optus, it works smoetimes around the house, bur barely 1 bar on average, so i stuck a piece of foil in it, and i have about 2 bars now, i wanna no if those booster stickers work, saw some on ebay and feedback was assuring saying (great item, used to have no bars now 2 bars, A++++) and many sites say they work like http://www.skinz.org/phone/cell.html i also saw a site that said they did electrical tests and stuff testing worldwide, and the average was 2 or 3 more bars. is it worth 5 dollars? :??: :?:
Guest mini_man Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 saw a program about this on braniac, foil is the best but you can also connect a so wires and an arial in your phone if it has an external socket. they tested the stickers on braniac but apparently they didnt work
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 It's a pure gimmick and has been proven not to work. As for upgrading the OS that will not improve reception either.
