So i've just bought an Orange SPV C600

Hopefully i'm in the right forum, hello to everyone! *wave*

As the topic states, I've just purchased an Orange SPV C600.

Could people point me in the directions of what I can do with my phone, bearing in mind im a n00b in this field but not stupid by any mean.

So would be looking for link's etc. for unlocking, getting divx movie's on etc.

Get browsing/searching Modaco, in particular these forums, and you'll find all these things out for yourself... and you'll learn tonnes more in the process!

There's unlikely to be much outside the world of what's been discussed here at some point..

You are probably right, Matthew, unless, of course, CoMa665 is a certain recent ex-candidate for the leadership of the Liberal Democrats. In that case, there may not be the answer he wants to his question on this Forum!

I would also agree with the original poster in their request for all things C600.

Whenever I have upgraded my phone I have trawled through many a forum and tried finding out the best pieces of software to install and any hints and tips. It was hard work - and reading through all these thread it became clear that many people were upgrading to new phones but never getting the best out of them.

I wonder whenever a new phone is released whether there could be a sticky topic regarding software that is known to work on that phone/platform and some dedicated hints and tips about it.

I know that the forums are the place to visit for this but I feel it would cut down a lot of repetitive posts on similar subjects.

A ONE-STOP THREAD FOR ALL THE BASICS FOR EACH PHONE.

Ie for the C600 some great advice for all the new owners - to instantly upgrade to Activ sync 4.1, then check that microsoft website on how to allow connection around the firewall.

Possibly how to get the icon view back to the original list-view.

Just simple tips collated from exisiting threads in one easy portion!
