How to Instal SOFTWARES in i-mate SP5m!

Hi everyone ... well I'm a newbie here and I just purchased imate SP5m but having problem in installing programs and softwares in it. When I instal any program like oxford dictionary or cryptostorage cab to ma i-mate SP5m thru Activesync... It says that "Installation of SinanTech CryptoStorage.CAB was unseccessfull.This installation file is not intented for this kind of device."

Please help me ... I can not install any program everytime I get the same error.

Please guide me how to instal softwares in i-mate SP5m because I was a user of Nokia and have no idea abt I-mate.Thanks in advance!

Is the program uppdated for Mobile 5? Perhaps you need to email the developer to get a new version?

Also if understand this correctly did you try and move the cab file over to your device and install it their?

They are made for fone 5 and can u tell me how to move the cab file correctly to fone.Its a setup file and when I run the setup it gives an error on the fone that this file in not intended for this device.And says that installation of CAB file is unsuccessful.

...you need to bear in mind that there are two versions (crazy I know) of WM5...one is for smartphones such as the SP5m, the other for PDA phones such as the K-Jam...you need to have the correct software for your device...

...also, if you have the SP5m, would this not be better posted in that section? Maybe a Mod will move it there...

Yes, most PPC software won't install on a Smartphone, WM05 or otherwise.
