tomtom slow menus on c600

anyone using tomtom on a c600 ??

Ive just installed it and when I try to change the voices in the menu it has so far taken me over 30mins to get past 7 voice options.

Yeah, I had this. I wiped out my voices directory and got a different version, eventually it worked and is much more responsive in the voice selection page.

You might have more luck posting in the SmartPhone section rather than the PPC section if you're using a C600 (PPCs use TomTom Navigator not TomTom Mobile)

I have found it takes it's time if the Voices are not installed and then it takes time as it tries to search for them.

If there's no navigator.cfg file in the TomTom directory, it'll scan all the voices on startup, which could make it slow. This file isn't created until setup is completed.
