HTC universal and 3 network?

I am thinking on getting a imate Jar Jar... (cos of push email coming soon).

Do these phones work with the 3 network?.... I know it is bad ... but it is cheap!

can I do full internet browsing?

can any one help... a lot of money if it does not work... as can not find settings for it on this forum.

I believe 3 allow limited access to some web sites, but not all. As for settings I guess you'd have to contact them for those. I have seen some people using 3 sim cards in a Universal, but unsure of what functionality they had.

I was using my Universal on 3 - not a pleasant experience .

But since then they have the £15 / month option for 56Mb.

The £2.50 option allows you to access a few sites which is all that was available when I tried. Three's own content won't work properly (bits do but most doesn't) and they reserve the right to cancel your contract if you don't use a phone supplied by them so there is always a risk of them disconnecting you.
