Hi. http://groups.msn.com/orangespv is the next big thing to come to your screens!

It's already attracted some interest and hopefully I'll watch it grow into a bigger site.

This site features the best content from around the web written exclusively for this Orange SPV community including an "SPV Switchers" section with people's stories about their transition to an Orange SPV.

Check it out!

Everyone is welcome.

Does anyone in this forum have any ideas or suggestions for improving my site?

Well as the homepage says it's just a way of filtering out the moreens out there. I've had several people who tried to ruin the site for others. So I'm checking out each person who wants to come to this site. I don't take kindly to using fake emails.

Theirs also no harm in Joining. You can un-join at any time in the Member Tools. Theirs no charge, no nothing for coming to the site.

Yeah I know, but a lot of people don't like to have to give out personal details. Especially when they don't even know what your site offers! Why go through the hassle involved in signing up when there might not be anything of interest to you on it. It might be useless to you or it might be pants? Yeah it's probably quick to sign up, but it still takes time. Why not do something similar to what Paul's done here - unregistered users can't post, but still get to see what the sites like.

Finally there are now LOADS of SPV sites out there. I for one can't be arsed signing up to everyone, especially when I don't know what's on it. What's the point as this seems to be the best to me and I find it difficult to keep up with this. God knows I spend too much time here as it is.

Anyway I'm intrigued now and will go and register...

Please, no blatant ads for other sites on the forum.

Next time will be a warning spikex. ;)

At least blatant adds are blatant and easily ignored. I think it's good if people enclose them in

plug>

tags so we know.

The real problem is people who try and slip in subtle adds of the form:

I am just some guy but I found this great site xxxxx, go check it out. When in fact they are not just some guy, they are some filthy advertising their own site person.

Just my opinion.

Especially when it's just providing the exact same service as this site and not even plugging you Paul - cheeky in my opinion! Though I think you've little to worry about at the mo - this site got here early and is too established.

That one's fine, I have nothing to do with sinfest, I'm just an avid reader... I wish I could draw like that.

Apologies to all those that I have offended. I am not trying to simply 'copy' this Modaco site. I think you'll find that theirs a different 'aura' if you will to it. I have tried to make it so that the posts are interesting to read and not just repeated information (like some forums out there) and I dont have Mods or anyone in a higher position than the others (except for the Group Manager)...so please do erase this message entry if it is breaching your site policy as I did not want to just get some free advertising because if I wanted to do that, I would of done it properly. I just thought people might be interested in seeing my site, if not then that's that. I only posted on this site because I saw that it focused on the SPV and I wanted to see if my site would attract any interest despite it being in the early stages of development and growth.

So yet, again, I apologise for my mistake. I didn't think I'd get such a harsh response.
