No T9 on 3.46 rom?

Does the 3.46 asian rom for the mpx 220 have T9? Whenever I type a text message I have to cycle through the letters which takes to long. When I hold down the * button the only options I get are Abc, Abc, and 123.

On the 1.47 ROM the Abc option is the same as the T9 from the origonal version. Not quite as intuitive...but close.
