T-Mobile phone pad removal

Hi to all

Is it possible to remove the t-mobile branding off the MDA Vario. I have read the threads in this forum about hard reset and I think this has happened because I had a message saying that FAT was reformatted then...a fresh start followed by a soft reset before the extended rom. No t-mobile data installed but the boot screen is still t-mobile and the phone pad is too. Any advice?
