This new version adds support for emulated surfaces and the ability to combine Edge's internal color filters on all supported surfaces and drawing methods. With an emulated surface developers can create a surface in any supported color depth. Edge supports the automatic color conversion when blitting from a surface to another with a different color depth. The color filter improvements enable developers to combine multiple of Edge's powerful filters. Additionally, the new color filter Color Fill is added. The Edge 2.30 release also includes numeral bugfixes and improvements such as a bugfix in the rotate/scale function, a fix for the rounding issue when using the opacity filter on surfaces with low color depths, a bugfix for an error in the GetInfo() function and some minor DirectX issues regarding clipping.
