Guest Rhinestone Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 Not sure if this has been posted already but here is the fix In Regedit go to the following: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shell\StartMenu\GridView Change the Value Data from 1 to 0 This does not require a reboot for this to start working. Displays all items in Start Menu as a list rather than groups of 9 icons.
Guest Disco Stu Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 Cheers. Icon view started annoying me within minutes of owning the C600 ! :)
Guest TigerNet Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 ...which reg editor are you guys using? Cheers Nick
Guest Disco Stu Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 RegeditSTG - which I got from the pinned unlocking topic in the Tornado section. Very easy to use
Guest Terminal Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 Cheers Can anyone tell me why when trying this fix on my Qtec 8310 the reg editor is telling me Access deinied?
Guest Disco Stu Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 You need to application unlock your phone as the registry editor is not digitally signed as being a trusted piece of software.
