List View on Start Menu (C600)

Not sure if this has been posted already but here is the fix

In Regedit go to the following:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shell\StartMenu\GridView

Change the Value Data from 1 to 0

This does not require a reboot for this to start working.

Displays all items in Start Menu as a list rather than groups of 9 icons.

Can anyone tell me why when trying this fix on my Qtec 8310 the reg editor is telling me Access deinied?

You need to application unlock your phone as the registry editor is not digitally signed as being a trusted piece of software.
