XM Radio vs. Incoming Phone Calls

I currently have a program on my SP3i to stream XM Radio through GPRS, however anytime I am using it I can't recieve incoming phone calls. They are routed directly to voicemail.

I am considering upgrading to the SP5 and using Wi-Fi to stream XM. Will I be able to recieve incoming calls while using Wi-Fi or will it be the same as GPRS?

I'm sorry if it's been answered before, I did a search and didn't find anything helpful.

There should not be a problem with using wifi and recieving incoming calls at the same time.
