help with activesync and orange m500

Hi Everyone,

I got an Orange M500 yesterday and its my very first pda so this may be a stupid question for you experts!

Basically I synced it yesterday with my work pc no problems whatso ever transfered calender, last 3 days of inbox and tasks very easily. However what I want to be able to do is sync it remotely so what i am out and about at meetings my m500 can check back with the exchange server at work and collect any e-mails I have recieved then update my inbox when I return to work.

How do I do this?? I tried selecting sync with exchange server in activesync on the pc adding the exchangesvr.*****.co.uk address that outlook uses and it doesn't connect when i try using gprs out of the office.

Is this right or am I doing something wrong? I also have a http://19............. adress I used to access my e-mails remotely out of the office using my home computer should I have entered that address as the one it uses remotely to connect to?

All I want is to be able to update using the usb cable whilst in the office and gprs out of the office can someone please tell me the best way of doing it.

If it helps when i try to connect using gprs the error code is INTERNET7 that active sync gives.
