Activesync connects to gprs, causes usb disconnect

Whenever i try to sync with any machine. Activesync on my hw6515 trys to establish a gprs connection killing the USB connection. Any ideas why? I've played with every setting i can think of.

Hi,

I'm on ADSL and active sync kills the USB connection, thats a smartphone with an Intel modem, a good friend has ADSL with a Nokia Phone using the Nokia data suite, it kills his USB connection too.

One thing worked, and that was to change the ports of the modem or phone, put one direct into the PC and leave the other in the hub, since I re-installed XP even this stopped working for me, my answer is to disconnect my modem before sync-ing the phone, that works for both of us.
