SP5 hard reset?

Would someone remind me what the hard reset key sequence is for the SP5?

I have the qtek 8310 , i make a hard reset in the menu accessories, and hard reset after the key 1 2 3 4.....

On a turned off device press simultaneously both softkeys and then the power button for 2-3 sec. (keep holding the soft keys). A black screen with a message will appear. Press 0 and enjoy HR.

Maybe 'hard reset' is the wrong question. What do I do when my phone is on, but completely frozen besides pull the battery out?

Also, which are the softkeys - the ones under the voice recorder on the left side?

1. Hard Reset = "reinstall windows" to factory settings. After it all installed apps, contacts, SMS/MMS, settings are deleted.

2. Soft keys = 2 small peripheral buttons under the screen.

3. In case of such a freeze helps only the removal of the battery.

squaletto78 is right. the SP5 hard reset is performed whilst the phone is turned on.

On the device, select "Start", "More", "Accessories", "Clear Storage" and then enter "1234" to confirm and press the "Yes" soft key..

The device will then reboot and reset to factory defaults.

You will need to press the soft key when prompted to perform a final reboot.

first try the soft reset - clearing the storage with the app available under Accessories called clear storage. if that doesnt help then try the hard reset.

Yes this is the only way to hard rest SP5/Qtek 8310/Vodafone V1240. But the power key should be pressed for not more than 1 & half seconds or it will not work.

The option given in Accessories may not solve some of problems which this hard reset can.

No it isn't. I soft reset the device and when the screen was black I quickly pushed both softkeys and the message to press "0" to resotre the factory settings appeared.
