Cheers for any help Gazza
Guest chucky.egg Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 Yes, you can take your number to another network - call Orange and ask for your PAC code. Give that code to your new network (via a reseller if you're not buying direct) and they will sort out the rest If you buy through a reseller you can normally still deal direct with the network, but bear in mind that if you change DOWN tariffs in the first 3-6 months you may be required to re-start your contract

The most inflexible network I have had to deal with. And their Customer Services aren't free either. Also, please read current thread re phones2udirect http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=...=phones2udirect

I endorse the comments about t-mobil's current offers. Absolutely brilliant.

I bought my phone in Sep from them and all subsequent dealings have been with o2 direct. Most companies are like that - even singlepoint is now vodafone.
Guest Gazza316 Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 Cheers for those, ok i'm lookin at t mobile but bit concerned over their coverage in my area. what is the sp5 called on t mobile operator?

(Plus, you can use your free sms to send MMS instead. It also comes wit free Voicemail, and free International Traveller Service). So bearing in mind the old maximum that "the worst network is the one you are on and just about to leave, and the best is always the one you are about to go to, until you get there and you are back at the start of the sentence", then as Customer Service these days seems poor with all, isn't the tariff itself the key factor now? Worth a thought.

After it all arrives, O2 IS your airtime provider/network/billing company, and the company you have all your dealings with thereafter in terms of your bill, changes of tariff, future upgrades etc etc.
