Activ Sync and Outlook problems

I have previously been able to connect via activsync with my e100, e200 and c500 and so have attempted to connect my new C600. But to no avail!!!!

I have updated the Activsync software to version 4.0 (as supplied) given the software full access through firewall -my C500 connects no problem but it will not connect (or even recognise) my C600!!!

Any ideas what I am doing wrong to correct this problem?

ALSO :-

I have previously had Outlook Express installed on my pc and could easily switch between Email accounts on the system.

Whereas since having my C600 (and installing) the recommended software Outlook has replaced Outlook Express and I am unable to switch between all my user accounts!

Anyone got any ideas or whether I shall uninstall it?

Just to get the simple things out of the way, have you deleted the C500 partnership ?

AS will only sync one Smartphone. Go into the File menu in AS to delete the partnership.

Yes m8 - I have deleted ALL partnerships.

It looks as if this is a firewall issue as now it works when I turn my Zone Alarm firewall totally off but when it's back on it doesn't.

I have followed the instructions given on another thread but only have the free version of Zone Alarm and so am only to complete certain steps of those instructions.

To add to these matters when you add the four exe files to the application list in Zone Alarm they don't appear as what they were called within Windows Explorer. Therefore I have only tracked down 3 of the four exe files in the Zone Alarm list!

The three I have given total access to are :-

Activesync Application,

Activesync Connection Manager,

Activesync RAPI Manager.

I have added the fourth exe application from the Activesync folder but am not sure what it has appeared as within Zone Alarm - can anyone tell me what it is called?

Thanks

Leekee
