Silencing the phone when ringing

Hi

I have a C600 and wanted to know if someone calls and I don't want to speak to them, I want to be able to switch the ring off and silence the phone but not divert the caller straight away. Ie I don't want the caller to know that I've red buttoned them.

Can this be done? At the moment I can only seem to divert them straight away.

Cheers, seems you've got to press it twice in succession, not as good as the nokia or Sony Ericsson one press silence button but will do.
