Hi sorry if this is asked alot i recently revieved a SPV E100 as a gift the phone is unlocked with a 02 sim in it but i have no clue how to transfer files to it i have the ActiveSync software and cable. i would like to transfer new pics and music onto it also how do you change the theme thanx for any help in advance

Welcome to the forum :D

Firstly put the phone well away from your PC. About twice as far way as your cable will stretch. This is important.

Now connect the cable to a spare USB socket. A powered socket is best and don't bother with USB hubs as they can cause problems.

Next stick the CD into the PC and let it autorun. Follow the onscreen instructions - there's nothing complicated. If you don't already use MS Outlook then this is a good opportunity to take advantage of the complimentary copy as you'll want it to sync your Contacts, Calendar etc.

When prompted - and not before - connect your lovely new Smartphone to the cable. Full syncronisation isn't essential at this stage so you don't need to create a new partnership, guest will do for now. Your choice entirely.

Once its done its thing, click on Explore or double-click the Smartphone icon and you will open up the explorer so as to navigate your way round the files and folders.

Now you're away. I've probably bored you to death already so, in your own time, click on the first 2 links in my sig for all the info you need to customise your new phone.

If you plan on using an SD card or MMC, it's advisable to use a card reader. It's alot faster :)
