As the client normally communicates with the server over the Internet and activesynch/bluetooth provides IP (Internet Protocol) level connectivity between the host and the phone (eg you can browse pages with Pocket IE hosted on a web server on your bluetooth connected PC - not just those on the remote Intenet) this should just work over bluetooth. Windows network settings permitting. I haven't tried this though.

Back when I had a C500, I used to use Jeyo's remote to control my PC from the phone (http://www.jeyo.com/remote.asp). It worked great and was very user friendly - select Powerpoint and the screen showed 1 to move on, 2 to move back and so on. It didn't show the PC's screen but I never expected it to. The hardest part was getting Activesync to work by Bluetooth!

When I changed over to a PPC, I couldn't find anything similar. Eventually I stumbled across Pebbles (http://www.pebbles.hcii.cmu.edu/index.php) which works perfectly as a remote controller once you've got the Activesync by Bluetooth working. As an added bonus, you even get to see the PC's screen on your phone - how cool is that!

Pebbles isn't as user friendly out of the box, but I recently had a play with the Shortcutter that comes with it, and it's a piece of cake to make buttons that you then set to tasks - so you can have a big button on the screen for move on a slide, another for back and so on to your hearts content. Also, Pebbles is free! :)
