Guest Paul [MVP] Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 Softick have updated their excellend Card Export II application to support Windows Mobile 5! The application, which can be found HERE, allows you to use your Pocket PC Storage Card as a mass storage device... no more ActiveSync required for copying files, great if like me you always have your Pocket PC and your miniUSB keyring on you :) The update to version 2.11 lists the following improvements: Softick Card Export II for Pocket PC updated to version 2.11. Better Windows Mobile 2005 support! - Fixed problems with installation on localized versions of Windows Mobile 2005 - Fixed problems with reading/writing to the Compact Flash cards - Fixed write problem on HTC Wizard platform (Qtek 9100, I-Mate K-Jam, etc) - Dell X50V with WM5 upgrade now supported in readonly mode. - Generic support for Windows Mobile 2005 (Windows CE 5.0) devices You can download a free evaluation version HERE, and find the device compatability list HERE. Enjoy! :) P Edit: Woohoo! It works on my HTC Prophet :D
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 FYI, I didn't get prompted to reboot, but needed to... P
Guest niek_groot Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 how are you getting on with it Paul? I installed the beta a little while ago, but was experiencing the write problem this release is supposed to fix. I had an annoying reboot issue when I plugged in the wall charger after I installed it tho and hard-reset it to get rid of all traces... bit reluctant to try again :)
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 So far so good, but only had it installed an hour or so :) P
Guest carphead Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 Works very well on my K-Jam. When I had my X50v using this (previous release) I even managed to get a CF Card to work as a boot device for a PC. :) Love this app makes loading MP3's and Videos on to a SD Card so much quicker.
