Guest bjde0b Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 I recently changed the folder location for my inbox to save my emails to the storage card via registry edits and also I ran the IE cab to change the cache locations. Every was fine and then today I had to turn off my phone because the battery was about to die and now i was looking to do some other stuff on it and some stuff got rearanged that I didnt do. The Storage Card folder because Storage Card2 and now the Storage Card is on the actually phone memory and has the Inbox folder and the IE Cache folder in it. Anybody now how this could of happened and what I should do about it.
Guest bjde0b Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 (edited) It won't let me rename it back to Storage Card and when I take a picture it puts pictures instead of being on the actual storage card it puts them in a folder called storage card on the phone memory. Also it will not let me rename Storage Card2 back to Storage Card so windows cannot find my programs and I have to remap all the links to Storage Card2. Can I go into Regedit and do any of this? NEVERMIND I FIXED IT THROUGH THE REGISTRY AND RESETTING A FEW TIMES Edited February 4, 2006 by bjde0b

NEVERMIND I FIXED IT THROUGH THE REGISTRY AND RESETTING A FEW TIMES <{POST_SNAPBACK}> if you move contact, and ie cache to the storage card, then you start your phone without the sim cart in, i found a folder on the device gets created called 'Storage Card' then when you put the storage card back in it get called 'storage card 2' all i did was delete the folder called 'storage card' pulled the battery out, and restarted the phone.. once the phone was restarted the memory card was once again called 'storage card' and all was back to normal!!
