Guest dkdent Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 Hi, I just bought my first smartphone, a QTEK 8310 and I have some questions, before I hang myself. - Does anyone know how to set a ringtone WITH vibration? - Does anyone know how to set increasing ringtones? - Does anyone know if my "smart" phone plays mp3´s as ringtones? Thanks guys!
Guest scsi Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 Go into "Start -> Settings -> Profiles", select your NORMAL profile (or which ever you like to modify), press Menu and Edit. There, under "Ring type", you can set it to vibrate and ring. Your smartphone can indeed play mp3´s as ringtones.

Guest verT Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 ok found the problem. the answer was in a thread about the same issue on an i-mate sp5 (equivalent phone). i needed to copy the files into the 'application data/sounds' folder. now all is fine! hope this helps others too!
