Guest bjde0b Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 I have PocketMusic on my Cingular 2125 with a QVGA screen. The PocketMusic screen only takes up about 1/3 of the screen is it possible to somehow stretch this in the code of the program. Has anybody tried this with any other programs.
Guest spacerace Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 I don't think it can be stretched no. I'm hoping they release an update that is QVGA compatible soon... Any other MP3 clients out there that remember where you were in a song and resume ?
Guest scsi Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 Any other MP3 clients out there that remember where you were in a song and resume ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> TCMP does that, but it's not a great music player (as opposed to movie player). I'm using WMP, and when I want to stop listening, just pause the song and minimize the player. Works ok.
Guest spacerace Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 yeah, but for some reason my WMP (and pocket music) both seem to get "end tasked" by themselves. pocketmusic resumes nicely but WMP has to be fast forwaded to the right spot. I primarily listen to podcasts which can be upto an hour long, so the long FF sessions in WMP make me use pocket music even in it's reduced screen realestate mode...
Guest scsi Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 (edited) Wierd, WMP works fine for me. When I switch back to it using the task manager, it is still paused where I left it. I hope TCMP will get better for playing music. If they only used the large black area to simply show the mp3 info there, instead of craming it up in the bar where you can't see anything, it would be a whole lot user friendlier. Also, a visible volume level would be appriciated. Edited February 7, 2006 by scsi
Guest spacerace Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 Yes the majority of the time WMP and other progams all sit in the background by themselves no problem, but occasionally it will just shut down. Pocket Music plays about half a second of where it was paused when it shuts down, and so occasionally my phone will suddenly make half a seconds worth of noise and then go quiet. This is my indicator that pocketmusic has just shut itself down !
