Guest Paul [MVP] Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 I finally was brave enough to take a sugar cube to my Dopod 818 Pro to remove the logo. Despite my fears about the durability of the coating, it was a success... I now have a super clean looking Prophet :D The logo was a lot harder to remove than on previous devices, but it's gone :) P
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 Will take some later! Usual disclaimers apply if you try this yourself of course :) P
Guest J273 Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 yea i think ill leave mine for now....too new
Guest chucky.egg Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 Yeah, I scuffed the GFs Nokia to bits doing this on hers. My Dopod's quite happy for now with his little "name badge" Anyone else noticed the paint going around the stylus slot though? I'm sure someone posted about that. Makes me think the paint job will go quite easily.
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 Slight lightening around the silo on mine, nothing to worry about yet... P
Guest coolcatshaft Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 just "cubed" my Imate JAMin, very pleased with the results.
Guest nickcornaglia Posted February 21, 2006 Report Posted February 21, 2006 Ha Ha Ha Suckers! I was waiting for someone brave enough to try it! :) It does take some time. SMALL CIRCLES is the way to go!!! Up/Down, Left/Right just wears down the cube faster. THIS IS GREAT! THANKS! :D
