Guest st3ph3n Posted February 5, 2006 Report Posted February 5, 2006 NO SH*T SHERLOCK! Anyone know how to turn this off?
Guest chucky.egg Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 Do you mean the message bubble that appears when GPRS is connecting? You turn that off in Sounds and Notifications
Guest phil-99 Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 No, they mean the message that pops up whenever you launch internet explorer... it's really annoying.
Guest Gears Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 I don't think you can mate - it looks like something T-Mobile added into the build.
Guest Swampie Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 It's to stop people complaining when they get billed £7.50 per MB on T-Mobile when they didn't realise they were going online.
Guest Eggy Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 (edited) - Go to the following registry entry: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC" - Now delete the following key: "PIEPlug" - Turn the Wizard off (by holding the power button for 5 seconds) and back on. This worked for owners of the Dutch MDA Vario. Edited February 7, 2006 by Eggy
