There are a lot of better programs for M$'s Smartphone. Have you found a program that would make you want to buy a Symbian Smartphone?
Guest Cooleaf Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 I have just exchanged my Nokia phone with my friend. Applications on Nokia are small and safe, and will not cause too much problem because phone user has really limited access to system files. Comparably M$ smartphone system is opened too much to end-users, the registry, the system files and folders.
Guest mini_man Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 what kinda apps do u want?? we can all help find similar 1ns
Guest SmartCell Posted March 3, 2006 Report Posted March 3, 2006 what kinda apps do u want?? we can all help find similar 1ns <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That sounds like a challenge to me ;) One which I want to call you on, being a former symbian user I have some software's I havent found equivalents too in the windows mobile world. Let me start with an easier one. Have you heard of MobiGuard or software that is similar? It is software which protects the information on the phone incase its stolen. What software would be equivalent to that one in the windows mobile world? Please answer me even if it is to tell me there isnt one. I am sorry I am entering this thread which isnt made by me with my own things, but I just could pass this one up ;)
Guest Cooleaf Posted March 3, 2006 Report Posted March 3, 2006 MobiGuard?? Yes, there is one on SP system, with even the same name. It is a program coded by chinese, and only chinese version available for the moment, that I know of. Am trying to see if there is an english version for you (or you can read chinese? ;) I believe this app is exactly wat you want. So let's hope it has your language version.
Guest SmartCell Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 Hi, sorry about the really late reply. I usually get an email to tell me about new replies, but for some strange reason I didnt get this time, even tough I had selected it. Anyway you were right, I saw the software too and it seems Windows Mobile has this type of software just as Symbian does. Unfortunately I cant read chinese, but luckily I found an english version of the software so everything is good now :P But let me continue on then, I have thought it over and have come to 2 different softwares that still do not exist on the Windows Mobile plattform, but that exist on the Symbian platform. These software might not be the most important ones, but still they should have equivalents on the Windows Mobile platform. Anyway I will start with the first. The first one is a real-time lie detector. Does it exist any real-time lie detectors software for the Windows mobile platform? I dont think it does, but I remember how much fun I had using it on my Symbian phone, so something like this should exist for Windows Mobile phones. So does it exist a software like this for Windows Mobile phones or am I right and something like this does not exist for Windows Mobile phones? This is fun ;)
Guest kongocui Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 Heartily , faint. How could different systematic ones be used?
