Hi All, I've got C550, I bought another one and the same problem. At the moment it is default set to: Classic [classic.wma]. I changed it to Fantasy, and when there is a incoming call it rings with Classic!.

Reading other posts, I have found one interesting tweaks from Midnight.

Ring tones on SD/MMC Card

Open the registry editor:

HKEY_CURRENT_USERControlPanelSoundsRingTone0

Select 'Values'

Select 'Sound' and change the Value Data: Storage Card path to wavname (eg. Storage CardRingtonesmyringer.wav)

I updated that field to \Storage Card\My Sounds\Sway.wma then I saved it and also restarted.

But no luck, returns to the same Classic ring tone!

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Sorry was in a hurry to go work! Well it didn't accept the new ringtones due to CallFilter running in the background, I am not sure why though. When I turned the CallFilter off, and then changed the ringtone. It started work perfectly! Problem solved.

Hi,

Had ringtone probs with an E100, providing I stuck with Jeyo Personaliser the ringtones worked OK, the minute I went back into >settings>sounds they all reverted back to the bog standard ones, neccesitating [thats a good word @ 05-30] re-entering Jeyo and re-setting them all.

Max.
