Low on free storage space

Have recently upgraded to SPVc600. Noticed it was quite slow from the start. All my stuff on the card. Couldn't download mms messages because of a lack of space. Now I'm getting the message that phone is running low on free storge space. Delete old or unused items to create more space.

How do I do that?

Restart the phone and then use the Task Manager in the Accessories folder to check the memory readings. It's option 6 in the Task Manager menu.

Have you deleted old messages ? Not got too many ringtones etc in Application Data folder ?

Thanks. I had duplicate ring tones on phone and on card.

How do I delete old messages?

When in Inbox & Sent Items hit the right-softkey (Menu) and choose Delete.

When they're all in the Deleted folder you get the option to delete them all at once.
