Activesync sync troubles

I know theres a few probs with most firewalls with wm5 ,Ive downloaded AS4.1 and installed but when i install and connect the phone it says connecting for ages and never goes any further.

As anyone got there working fully with sygate firewall without having to turn it off all the time,I managed to get it to work with my Wizard when i had it but cant remember what i did,Ive used the advanced rules within sygate but still the same.

What version of AS is everyone using 4 or 4.1?

I was previously using sygate. I have an problem of sync after hard reset of my ppc. It always hang at "retrieving setting".

Lots of people have trouble with Sygate, and some people still haven't got it working.

No problems with Kerio here...
