Guest Br1an_g Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 ok, my S110 stopped working last week as per the main speaker thread so i phone up buymobilephones and they said i had to return the phone and battery, and they would send the phone for repair to teh manufacturer. however, they would send me a loan phone on receipt of mine in the mean time. that was last thursday i sent my phone by special next day delivery, confirmed that they received it on Friday. e-mailed them last night to see what has happened to my 'Temp' phone and got a reply today saying they dont have any available. then a further reply saying they could give me a Nokia 6260. i specifically stated in my letter (sent with phone) that any 'temp' phone must be of equal of higher spec than my s110 as i use my phone for e-mails, etc, and need it to sync with pc to get my contacts back on. sooooooo (takes a deep breath) what can i do now.?? i obviously dont want a nokia, but cant really do without a phone much longer. can i demand a replacement? at the end of the day, i have no phone, and cant use my contract so arent they in breach of this or something?? any advise greatly appreciated. thanks
Guest Br1an_g Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 now they are saying it can take up to 2 months for repair... when it clearly states on their website, up to 10 days for repair..:)
