Guest Paul [MVP] Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 I've not seen an app like this for Smartphone... Rudeo (http://www.Rudeo.com) do a fantastic app for Pocket PCs to control Media Center (they also do a WMP version), maybe worth dropping them a line to see if they plan to support Smartphones? P
Guest spacerace Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 Haven't seen anything to remotely "control" it, but you can remotely add/delete recordings if that's of any use... You have to install this http://asciiexpress.com/webguide/ on your MCE box, be able to access your home network from the internet and setup port forwarding. WebGuide allows browser based control of your MCE, and also has a /mobile/ version which works well from a mobile device. I've had it running about a month now and scheduled a recording remotely many times now. Works like a charm !

Anyone?=) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ok - have now come across this utility on thegreenbutton.com - it's bluetooth control software, but says it's only for an Sony Ericsson K700i. Sony Ericsson K700i MCE Remote I haven't tested it as I don't have that model, or anything in the SE family (I would give it a go on any SE model and see if it works..) might help you ?
