Hi! I will try my best to explain my problem here.

I am the owner of two SPV C600 phones bought from Orange Romania. One of them is loaded with software installed by me, applications and homescreens alike. This one I use every day. The second one is brand new, never used in box. A couple days ago I noticed that my SPV C600 that I use every day cannot accept files via bluetooth from other phones however it would send files to any other phone. So it's a question of incoming transfers. I tried to pair it to those phones, but I tried in vain. I tried with a Motorola V620 and a Samsung E530. On the Motorola I always get the message "Service not allowed" when I try to send a contact or a picture. On the Samsung I get the message "Connecting..." for ever.

Now I thought I should try with the brand new, never used SPV C600. Took it out of the box, activated bluetooth, set it as discoverable and here I go: the same thing. Can anyone here explain to me please what kind of problem is this...? Why is the C600 unable to accept file transfers via bluetooth? I also tried with a Sony Ericsson W800i. I can send files but I can't receive.

One more thing: on the brand new C600 I also performed a hard reset and immediately tried pairing and transfering files. I got the same thing.

Both SPVs are decertified and unlocked using the method posted on this forum.

Very strange... Waiting for your advice!

I had the same problem with mine

You need to go to

Start - settings - connections - beam

then make sure there is a tick in "receive incoming beams"

Damnnnnn! You're right! That option wasn't ticked because I rarely use IR and I thought that the option reffers to IR. Well, what can I say? Thanks a lot! You saved the day:)
