Orange M5000 - Can you get one?

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to upgarde from the C500 to the M5000 but Orange seems to have been out of stock since before Christmas. Usual helpful CS - in response to e-mail - phone the helpdesk then - "We don't know when we'll get some more, just keep checking the website".

Do Orange really want to keep their customers?

Welcome to MoDaCo :)

I've moved your topic to Pocket PC Main as the M5000 isn't a Smartphone.

I noticed the same the other day when looking at upgrade options with Orange. This does happen from time to time for some reason. Don't know if it's supply probs at HTCs end or just Orange not being able to react to high demand.

I do know Orange regularly underestimate demand for their Pocket PC range.

I had the same problem with upgrading to a ppc with orange, i nealy gave them £70 to do it but since their web site and all machester stores were out of stock i went to t-mobile to get the MDA Comapct II (the same phone), this time for free and with a contract with web'n'walk that cost me half what i was paying with orange..........I think thats a perfect case for orange to look at hehe :)

I've just been told by Orange that they will no longer be stocking the M5000 due to too many problems with it!? And it's no longer available for an upgrade.

I want to stay with Orange but don't want the M600.....

Any suggestions - any new releases on the horizon?

Why? Don't you get T-Mobile reception round your way?
