Guest w411y Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 my mate has done this on his c550 but people on this forum tell me its impossible :?: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ask him how he did it then! I would of thought the only way possible was if the device was plugged into the TV sumhow through the mini USB at the bottom
Guest Tech Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 i think its not possible but someone said you can get a 2.5mm jack video cables - connect the 2.5mm end to the 2.5mm headphone socket and the svideo cable or whatever to the tv
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 Unless he has a Media Center set up then technically you could but it would still be going through a PC first. I would certainly be interested if this claim was backed up as I have not seen anyone do this as yet. What makes this claim more interesting is only a few days ago jrdas knew nothing about this topic and was asking how to do the same and getting very confused. The topic ended up only discussing audio and not video or images. http://www.modaco.com/tv_output_on_c550-t235347.html
Guest w411y Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 (edited) Surely theres no video feed coming from the 2.5mm socket? I didn't get the hi-fi cables with my C550 but I'm guessing there's a 2.5mm to one 3.5mm white wire and one 3.5mm red wire? If there was video coming from there aswell wouldnt they have provided the yellow cable of the scart aswell and boasted about it? Whats also interesting is that his mates seem to be able to anything so how doesn't he know? Edited February 11, 2006 by w411y
