Guest kc1 Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 Anyone know how I can get my phone to check email accounts more frequently than the 15 min setting without having to send/receive manually, on my SP5? Is this a handset specific thing or WM5? If it's WM5, which forum should i post this in?
Guest rhadsea Posted June 23, 2006 Report Posted June 23, 2006 Anyone know how I can get my phone to check email accounts more frequently than the 15 min setting without having to send/receive manually, on my SP5? Is this a handset specific thing or WM5? If it's WM5, which forum should i post this in? I've been trying to find out how to do this myself. I've scoured the registry for something that might trigger the 15 minutes so that I can change it to something less. However, I can't seem to figure this out. Any help would be great.
Guest Tech Posted June 23, 2006 Report Posted June 23, 2006 (edited) whenever there is an email which has just arrived it automatically gets synced with the mobile device (assuming you're connected with activesync) and the same thing happens when you send an email from the mobile device :) if you are talking about internet email or push(?) then im unsure :) would be nice to know tho! Pulling not pushing - (did you read the orignal post?) I've been trying to find out how to do this myself. Guest Tech Posted June 23, 2006 Report Posted June 23, 2006 relax. sometimes not everything is in the registry but if there is im sure someone will post it or someone will pick this up and post it here :)
Guest chucky.egg Posted June 23, 2006 Report Posted June 23, 2006 AFAIK nobody ever found a solution to this. It's been a limitation for as long as I can remember
