Shure Headphones for C550

Hi. I am considering getting some headphones for my C550 as the ones that came bundled with it can only be described as woeful. Here are my requirements:-

1. 2.5 mm jack with push button answer and mic (or can be used with 3.5 mm adaptor and retain mic function).

2. Good sound quality

I've found these from Shure

They come with an adaptor for the Palm Treo, but will they work on the C550?

They're also mucho spennyo, but they are good quality, but if anyone know a cheaper alternative with decent sound quality then that would be much apreciated. Cheers.

scroll down the page, you will indeed find a pic with someone's connected to a C500, & it does say 2.5mm in specs.

i'm hoping sennheiser might release a mobile version of their CX series (in-ear, canal phones), they'd probably be cheaper too

Be very careful! Just because it's a 4 pole 2.5mm plug doesn't mean it will work. I've tried two different sets of stereo headsets and neither worked because the C550 appears to have a non-standard 4 pole layout on the plug.

I'm using a set of e3c earphones with a 2.5-3.5mm adapter.
