Guest bjde0b Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 Have you tried soft resetting your phone. And if it is a new phone and you dont have a lot of stuff on it yet you could do a hard restart.
Guest abhayseth Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 You need to do a hard reset - thats the only way it will work again - faced the same problem. Guest jack Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 I think that you might have a problem with the headset connector.. it may be a short inside the connector and the headset profile remains selected.. It happend to a friend.. if so then you should go to a phone service if your waranty expired..
Guest influenz Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 A similar problem used to occur with the c500. I've not experienced it with my c600 but I only got it yesterday !! The problem was that there is a little pin (or something) inside the headphone socket which detects wether the headphones are connected, and if so hard sets the output to headphone only. The fix was to slowly (with something like wmp playing so there is a sound output running) insert and remove the headphone jack, wiggle it around a bit too.. this should get the 'pin' to set back to normal output. It often occured as a result of pulling the jack out too quickly in the first place and not letting the 'pin' set to normal output. Try it, I had this quite a few times on the c500.. ;-]
Guest undertaker Posted February 21, 2006 Report Posted February 21, 2006 just a thank you from my deep heart to Jack and influenz!!! I just got a replacement from orange. so problem solved! :)
