Guest michaelsylvester Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 I have purchased a Dopod818 Pro PDA/Phoneand have ActivSync4.1.0 installed on my IBM Thinkpad Tablet X41 PC. Previously I had an old IPAQ which ActivSync recognises. I have replaced this with the Dopod818 but ctivSync does not recognise the device. I have unistalled ActivSync several times and been through the troubleshooting pages on the ActivSync site but nothing seems to fix the problem. Any ideas what I should do now? Thanks MS

For those who are interested, I had to enable the TCP/IP for Windows Mobile Device Network setting and then disable the firewall for Windows Mobile Device. And it works. MS
