SPV C600 Video slow down

I just got my SPV C600 and downloaded the Core Media Pocket Player so I can run my AVI videos. Most of them work fine with no slow down, but some of my videos lag everytime the screen gets busy.

Has anyone got any suggestions?

Have you re-encoded your video and optimised it for the the smartphone ?

What are the properties of the AVI files you are playing ?

The C600 should be fine for playing video with its OMAP 850 processor.

I have just got the re-encoder thingy, thanks for your help, works fine now
