Guest flywest Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 I sync'd my Qtek 8330 with my Windows MCE computer and when I playback in WMP it is the size of a postage stamp. Anyone else have this problem? I know I can playback with TCPMP and it fills the screen but all it does is zoom and stretch the postage stamp video. Is there a registry change that will fix this?
Guest ElGato65 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 I know for the C500 a friend of mine worked out that he needed to change the PreferredWidth and PreferredHeight for each video type under this key, [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\ASFCodecs\Video] to W = 220 H = 164. Maybe its similar.
Guest spacerace Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 Check what resolution options are being used to sync to the phone. I use MyTvToGo on MCE and had to select the PocketPc option to get 320x240 that would run fullscreen.
Guest spacerace Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 Sorry, just seen you said Qtek 8330 - not sure what screen res that has ? Assumed you meant 8300 or 8310
Guest djleekee Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 I have uninstalled the Beta Player and replaced it with the newer version, now called, TCPMP. Available here - http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/about PS - I looked in my registry for that tweak and could only find the audio codec under that link you gave! Very strange but everything works fine with the newer version! Leekee
