Help! Does anyone know how to add your own tunes to the alarm notification drop down menu? e.g. So that you can change your text message alert. :shock:

They have to be midi or wav files for the notifications... and put them in your /windows folder on your xda.

Surely a quick search would have found that out? Less time than typing this thread I'd guess? :)

No need to be cheeky!! I have actually already done what you have suggested although I must say I can't remember the file format - will have to check, although i'm pretty sure they are wav files. I copy them to the windows folder but they do not appear in the drop down list. Thanks for the advice :D

But does anyone know any registry hacks to turn off notifications that aren't in the list? The sent message tone being the really annoying one.
