Guest DukeFleed Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Hi all, Coming from a back ground of not-so-smart-phones I always had this handy little thing in all of them... The ability to use a calling card Here's how it works You program a calling card in the phone, and whenever you need to call international you just press and hold on the dial key and boom, the not-so-smart-phone would call the calling card access number, wait a bit (or you click it or OK again) and send your pin, wait a little bit more and then send your number Anyway to do this? I read of couple of apps that "might" do this, one is called PhoneCard and the other one is called CCDialer. I have the first one, but couldn't find CCDialer anywhere. I was wondering if anyone know how to do this with WM5. It's really frustrating when a 7 year old phone can do something my latest and greatest $500 phone can't! :) Help anyone?

My SonyEricsson T610 could even do much much more. You could add "Calling Card" to the phone, then you can use any number and say "call using calling card" and it would first dial the calling card and ask you "send pin" it would then send the pin automaticallay and ask you when to send the number for the phone number overseas. It worked great all the time! But non of these new ones have that, and I could not find any of these on SDA. I guess Windows Mobile 5 on telephones really don't have much telephone features!
