How do I change the keypress sound?

I have tried for a long time to change the keypress sound on my phone.

I can go into HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Sounds/Keypress, and change the script value to nothing, then the keypress turns off. When i try to change the WAV file, i get nowhere!

if i replace HWandSW.wav with the wav file i want to use, it works fine, but then when i reboot my phone, i'm back to the stupid default keypress.

If i change HWandSW.wav to keypress.wav and copy keypress.wav to the windows dir it doesnt work.

If I put keypress.wav in the \Storage\Application Data\Sounds\ folder, and i try to put the entire path in for the Keypress Sound entry, that doesnt work. I just can't change the sound and it is driving me nuts!
