Guest ddieter Posted February 13, 2006 Report Posted February 13, 2006 Apologies at first if this is not the appropriate question for this area of the forum. I'm interested in ordering an SD card for my new Jamin (which is on it's way). I was originally looking at 2GB SD cards. Jet Media has 2GB standard SD cards for £57 and SD Ultra 2 high speed £70. I've read however that a number of you seem to already have 4GB SD cards. Do you mind if I ask where you got them and how much you paid? Also Is it worth the extra £13 for the high speed card. Will it be that much noticably faster? And has anyone seen better deals than these somewhere else? Cheers D
Guest chucky.egg Posted February 13, 2006 Report Posted February 13, 2006 There was an issue over card speeds over 150x not working on the older models (JAM etc) so be a little careful. I've got a 4Gb Transcend 150x card, but the seller doesn't appear to have any at the moment. There is also the ADATA card, which is the type Paul has. I dont know where Paul got his one from, but you can get them here: 4Gb ADATA on eBay The ADATA is £90 + £20 P&P, which is quite cheap IMO (I paid over £160 for mine)
