spv m500 problem with gprs (with some programs)

hello all

i recently bought a nice little spv m500 from good old ebay (it came satuday)

it has had some form of rom update, when u soft reset i comes up with i jam before loading

and if you do a hard reset it lets you pick which operator you wish to use

yeah well first of all i used me old o2 sim in their it work with phoneing and txting and i managed to get mms to work using the wap connection,

but i could not get msn messenger to work or internet

i thought it mite just be because it is a orange phone so picked up an orange sim card

stuck that in first of all it would not pick up any signal at all took it to the orange shop and the (rather nice) assistant fiddled on, then after a soft reset got signal so can phone and txt, and multimedia messaging works

but when i try to use msn it dails gprs and then says "the answering modem has disconnected. to check you concesttion settings and change them if needed, ..."

so any advice

if anyone could list the correct conections for orange pay as you go and where to add them all (gprs settings, mms settings, and conections settings)

also i was wondering if i can "downgrade the rom" (if thats the corect term lol) to the orignal orange spv standard and if i can how do i and where do i get it from

(also i would like to know if their is anyway to have both my orange and o2 acount active, ie i just switch my sim card and tap some setting changes and then use that )
