Guest alex07 Posted February 13, 2006 Report Posted February 13, 2006 Hi, I have my mpx200 for about 8 month and really like it. But a coule weeks ago during starting up the phone hangs on Hello Motto. I took the battery out and put it back. After that all the settings (welcome screen, sounds) went to default, but installed applications and my contacts where without not changes. After that I still able to receive SMS but strange enough can't read it anymore!! :) Scrolling through the list of SMS takes ages even there are just a few of them. Does anybody has an idea, what to do?
Guest djleekee Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 Sounds similar to my problems on C600. I didnt have any problems and need to take battery out but I can only view SMS list but am not able to read whole message and am unable to create a new SMS! It's really annoying me as I've only had it two weeks! Leekee ps my thread at http://www.modaco.com/SMS_problems_on_C600-t236529.html

Still can't read messages (I see only the first ~5 characters, header?) and can't create a new one. Somewhere on the net I've seen an article that this kind problem could happened if the phone get less than 1 Mb memory and it is advicable to keep it round 3Mb. I have more then 3 Mb memory but the problem still occure. Alex07 Edited February 19, 2006 by alex07

I have reported it to Orange who said they would get their technical team to call me back within 48 hours. They didn't call back so I rang again and they said they would call back within the next 3 hours. I still didn't receive any call from Orange. Going to give them one last chance now........... Leekee
