how i will get the start menu to the top ?

my guestion : how i will get the start menu to the top ?

I have windows mobile v5 on the Imate SP5

On the HTC (manufacturer) site is the telephone previewt with startmenu on the top.

Do i have to download something or is there an option inside windows ?

Just fyi-Bottom screen belongs to some PPC not smartphone as you can clearly see, it states tap here to set owner's info and smartphone does not (yet) have touch screens.

Not possible. That photo is a fake. It is clearly not a smartphone operating system.

The OS running in these pictures looks like PPC Phone Edition, Same OS as used in various devices like HP iPaqs,

The pictures are not genuine. Have you noticed the time is the same on all devices is the same? Same image superimposed onto all the devices. This indicated modified pictures..

I wish you would watch your language, if what I said was nonsense, why don't you prove me wrong by making it "right sense". Most of the people here are very nice and helpful and they help each other because they want to not that they HAVE to.I was just trying to respond to your inquiry and was under no obligation to help.

I still have to see a smartphone running WM5 that says, "please tap here to set owner's info". No touch screen is available. Since so many people are saying it's PPC operating system, you got to believe them. Being said that, part of menu (12 icons) shown in the picture are possible and so is "fake" Start menu on the top by creating an image file and editing XML file but I'll let someone else elaborate on how to do it. To put "fake" start button on the top, click on the link and it will give you some idea how to put the start menu on the top. You may also want to take a look at couple free programs such as , tweaks2k(Not freeware) gStart, Jeyo etc which allows you certain number of programs in the start

menu to be organized the way you want them. Most commonly used program can be set up on the first page so you don't have to dig thru multiple pages of the menu. SO there, it can be done but not in a true sense of PPC version. However this will be as close to smartphone version as its going to get.

that link is an nice XP pack but only working good on the C550 ill have tried but no succes.

The Imate jamin (HTC) does have te same systemreqruments as Imate sp5 (HTC tornado) also the same windows mobile version, The windows doesnt like the same as Imate sp5 (HTC tornado).

The telephone is working with startmenu on the top its more like the PDA version of Windows but its called windows mobile 5.

Not to mention the Phone application. Why would you need that when the htings has a full numeric keypad. Obviously fake. Although we may see something similar in the HTC Breeze maybe?
